New Year’s Eve. What fun. I love this night! Last year we celebrated with one of my best friend’s Christina and her boyfriend Tim, as well as my mom and her boyfriend, Manny. This year we had Christina and Tim over again, but this time to our NEW home. Is it officially a tradition now? I think so. I love to host guests, so of course I got my creative ‘food cap’ on…coming up with a creative menu. I love to eat lots of appetizers for new years, so I came up with a menu focused around that. I made a tray of mozzarella, tomatoes and basil (with olive oil and S&P sprinkled on top–yumm). Bought a few blocks of cheese-chopped them up and served them with crackers. I also wanted to make a more hearty meal if anyone was hungry-hungry, so I cooked up a nice batch of chili and kept that in the crockpot to keep warm all night. Was so yummy. Christina and Tim brought over some chips… and I made a great buffalo dip for a side app (one of TJ’s favs). We also had buffalo wings on the menu, but Tim left them at home 😉 Next year we can try again! We spent the night laughing and playing some silly games. At midnight we popped open the champagne and gave a toast to 2015! 2014 was an AMAZING year for TJ and I…So I was a little sad to say ‘goodbye’, but looking forward to the adventures ahead this coming year!
