This week I received a package in the mail from my friend Mal in Hawaii! It came at the perfect time because it has been raining and gloomy all week. I couldn’t wait to see what was inside. Mal creates her own jewelry inspired by her everyday life in Maui. She is very talented and hand makes many beautiful items such as necklaces, bracelets and rings. She’s has got me dreaming of walking along the soft sand on a warm sunny day, feeling the cool breeze hitting my face as I stroll along the waters edge. Um… is it summer yet?
I was lucky to receive a beautiful 14k gold shell necklace and three stunning gold bangles. I still don’t know which item I like best! All of the shells in her jewelry she has found along the beaches of Maui. Mal sells her jewelry locally and online on Esty. You can find some of her beautiful pieces on her Etsy shop here.
A little bit about her jewelry… “Gypsea Vibes was inspired by my love of the sea and the good vibes that radiate from the ocean when I find myself beneath the surface. I like to think that the shells and seaglass find me and instead of keeping them to myself, I wanted to share their inspiring beauty with others as a reminder of the sweet memories they have with the sea.”
The necklace that she sent me is so beautiful, it takes my mind directly to the beach. What I love about the necklace is that the chain is a choker. I love that the chain is short because it allows you to see the seashell right at first glance. The 14k golden chain compliments the shell perfectly and is a great color for summer, to wear with a sun-kissed tan.
I also LOVEEEE the bangles! I enjoy wearing multiple bracelets together and the 3 look great when stacked side by side. Each shell is unique and one of a kind. The bangles are made with 14k gold fill and are hammered and polished to sparkle and shimmer in the sunshine. You can snag one for yourself here.
I love supporting small businesses. You can find Gypsea Vibes on Etsy. Gypsea Vibes is all about finding beauty in the smallest of things and gaining a bigger and wider perspective. The saltier, the sandier, the sunnier… the better. Who wants one?
