Those of you who know me well, you know that I am a big coffee lover. I mean, who isn’t? The first time that I heard about Creative Coffee, I was ‘all ears’. I stumbled upon an insta-story talking about how awesome this coffee was and I knew that I needed to try it.
Creative Coffee is based out of NYC, just 45 minutes away from where I live. Jessica (a true Jersey girl like me) is the creator of this unique coffee brand. On her website she explains how coffee was the answer to the ‘missing piece’ in her day- it is what made her happy. She set out to create a coffee brand that would make everyone feel good. She describes her coffee blends as “an experience”.
What intrigued me the most about Creative Coffee were the amazing flavors they offer. You can create your own blend based on your coffee needs and taste preferences. Here are some of my favorite flavors that they offer: Cookies & Cream, Cinnamon Six, Cocoa Mocha Twist, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Swiss Almond, Hawaiian Hazelnut, among many others. Let me guess, now you want to try them too? The cool part is that you can create your own by combing two varieties to make into your “perfect coffee.”
Jessica sent me the French Toast & Almond Cookie coffee to try out for myself. First impression, I was impressed with the creative packaging. I am a big fan of proper marketing of a product and Creative Coffee sure caught my attention! Second impression, OMG- does this coffee smell AMAZING or what?! Third impression- “Man, does this coffee taste even better than I imagined?!”
If you are interested in ordering your own coffee blend be sure to head on over to her shop! All blends run for $16.99 and you have the choice between 2 flavors & the option for coffee grounds and/or whole beans. Go, Go, Go! Your custom cup of coffee is waiting 😉 Use code SPEERIT15 at checkout for 15% off your order!
Not a coffee drinker? Are you a ‘tea person?’ Creative coffee also makes tea! Feel free to check out the tea flavors here!
Like the smell of coffee but just don’t like the taste? Don’t worry, Jess has a candle line too. Check out her most popular fall scent: ‘Fall Foliage Coffee Bean’.
This past week we took our first family vacation. Growing up I have always taken trips down the shore, especially to stay at my grandparents camper down in South Jersey, however I had never stayed at the beach before. I looked forward to spending a week down in Wildwood with TJ, Landon, my mom and my practically step-father.
The weather all week was very great. One day it was overcast and on our final night it rained a little- but overall we got a lot of sun! We stayed at Water’s Edge Oceanfront Resort in Wildwood and really enjoyed our stay there. It is two blocks from the boardwalk, so the location couldn’t be more ideal. The hotel was 5 minutes from the beach and we had a great view off of our balcony.
We had a blast on the boardwalk- so many fun activities to do and rides to go on! “Watch the tram car please”….a little joke for those of you who have been there!
Landon was not a huge fan of the ocean, however he didn’t mind sitting on the chair near the water with me holding him (such a momma’s boy). He absolutely loved the pool at the hotel and being pushed around in this little pool floatie.
Most of our days were spent on the beach, getting a tan and enjoying a cool dip in the water, however, we also went to the Cape May Zoo & even saw a Harlem Globetrotters game. The night that TJ and I went to the Globetrotters game, we were chosen to get free upgraded seats – courtside. It was so much fun. We got to sit on the bench with the team players and really felt a part of the performance.
Overall, our first family vacation was a success! Landon was a champ and was so well behaved which made it that much more enjoyable. We had a lot of fun spending time with my Mom and Manny (aka M&M), eating many amazing home-cooked meals that my mom prepared for us and playing cards late at night while drinking Mimi wine (we call her grandma Mimi) We had an awesome time in Wildwood and will look back on this ‘first vacation’ and be thankful for the memories we all shared together!
