Hello Everyone.
Hope you had a nice Easter! I know we did! Luckily, this year I was off of work (yes we were still open!) I love Easter so much because of what it represents, Jesus is risen! Just as He had promised. It’s such an important holiday for us as Christians and means so much to spend it with the people you love most.
When we woke up, TJ made me chocolate chip pancakes! My favorite holiday breakfast 🙂 It always makes me smile when he does this, because he knows it makes me happy. As strange as it sounds, I have never made pancakes. I hear it is easy, but it’s the one thing I haven’t made. I guess I’ll leave it up to TJ, he makes them the best anyways 😉 After breakfast and rushing around to get ready, we went to Liquid Church. We ended up sitting next to my Aunt, Uncle and cousin David, which was funny because we didn’t plan that- the usher sat them right next to us. The room was already packed but there happened to be three empty seats next to us…I think that was meant to happen 😉
After church we headed over to my grandma’s house, aka Gran and Grandpy’s in Pequannock. This is the house where I lived most of my life growing up, so I always like visiting. We spent the day with my mom’s side of the family, so my Aunt’s, Uncle and cousins were all there. I am the oldest of six cousins so it is always fun to spend time with them. We always have an easter egg hunt- I get a kick out of watching them all race to find all of the eggs and fill up their bags as quickly as possible. My grandma always puts money in the eggs so it’s cute to watch them all count their money afterwards. I remember being little, man was Easter fun!
Here are some pictures of our day.
Be blessed!
