This DockATot was sent to me for free for review purposes, but this review is 100% my own + honest opinion.
When I heard we were expecting baby #2, I knew it was time for some new baby gear. Ok, maybe it was just another excuse to go shopping- but hey… When Landon was born, I honestly didn’t know much about the DockATot, but with my second pregnancy-it has been been all the rave on my friend’s insta feeds. I had heard such amazing things about it and it seemed to be a ‘must have item’ on all my momma friend’s wish lists, so of course I had to try it! Obvi π
We received the Dockatot Deluxe + Dock in the color ‘pristine white’. This deluxe model is for infants 0-8 months, perfect for our baby Sierra. I was initially attracted to the idea of this infant bed because I knew Sierra would need a safe place to rest (while still allowing me to watch Landon) and what a more perfect resting spot than this adorable & soft baby bed.
The Dockatot offers a safe and comfy spot which allows baby girl to rest, lounge, play, cuddle, do tummy time and even get her diaper changes in. Score. Momma’s love multi-purpose items! The DockATot was designed to offer a snug and soothing environment for babies, which even mimics being inside their momma’s womb- comfy and cozy.
When I first put baby Sierra in her dock, I couldn’t wait to take a picture. Insert the ‘awwww’ and cute baby meme please. She looked so comfortable! Do they make these in adult sizes? It is so perfect and convenient because I can move it from room to room and it’s lightweight, portable and ‘the perfect spot’ for her afternoon (okay-all day) naps! I even like to take it with me into our bed in the morning, so I can easily pick her up to nurse her and then gently lay her back down safely next to me and her daddy. It’s padded sides make it easy to put between us both, so we each get equal viewing please of our adorable little girl π
We also started to use the DockaTot for tummy time! Sierra loves to lay on her belly and I love how the soft rounded sides help to prop her up, under her arms, and give her that extra support. Not to mention, she is able to be comfortable while working to develop her neck muscles and motor skills.
So, final thoughts? I would absolutely recommend the DockATot to any expecting momma. It is certainly a hit in our house and Sierra seems to love it! It’s safe, practical and great quality, all things I look for when shopping for my kiddos. If you want to grab one for yourself or a momma friend, you can shop all their products here. They even sell a larger DockATot for your toddler! Looks like this may be our next purchase…
